Why is the cast section divided between males and females? What encyclopedic benefit are we getting by noting which people are male and female. This gender labeling is such a bizarre thing I see across Indian entertainment articles. What's the point? The only reason why I didn't shuffle the supporting cast together like a deck of cards is because of the embedded note that reads "AS PER THE OPENING CREDITS OF THE FILM". Do the opening credits really divide the cast by gender? I don't know maybe there is something to be said about maintaining it to highlight whatever cultural weirdness was behind it. It appears the change was originally made by Thamizhan1994 in this edit in November 2014. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:23, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
True, but that's more location-based as opposed to gender. The former seems more a matter of practicality. Anyway, if they are organised that way in the credits, I'll yield. Thanks Kailash. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:09, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
