What cind of music does she actually play? There is no information about that.
Contested statements removed to talk
[edit]- Another Mexican diva, Lucía Méndez, has said that Ana Bárbara is "the queen of ranchera music, and no one is close to her in that area"{{Fact|date=January 2007}}.
Please do not restore this information to the article without a citation.--BirgitteSB 03:43, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
"Ana Barbara" the artistic name.
[edit]The name of this singer is "Ana Barbara." That is just her first name as her last name is not used; Ana is not the first name and Barbara is not the last name.
Her name should be in full, as Barbara is NOT a last name.
I understand someone like Mariah Carey, where you can say "Carey was the biggest..." because that is her last name, but this is not the case with Ana Barbara. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.173.69 (talk) 05:15, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- So you're right. My apologies. Tabercil (talk) 05:21, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Can you please help me improve this article so it doesn't sound like a press release, like you stated to me earlier. I would want it to read better and more appropriate. Thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.173.69 (talk) 22:23, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Organization
[edit]I found this article very disorganized, being written like a diary in stream-of-consciousness style. I've grouped the main periods of Ana Barbara's career into different sections, but it would also benefit from being separated into three sections: performance, recording and production in one section, another on entrepreneurship, and a third on personal life.
In my opinion the section about the car accident should be looked at carefully. If this was a really important event, we should definitely cover it, but we must take care to present it as accurately as possible. In particular we must avoid tabloid newspapers and other sources of gossip. --TS 01:11, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
