I have deleted The Carousel from the list of bands - this does not claim to be a complete list, and they were of marginal notability at best. Although this article is sorted as {{guitarist-stub}} and WP:guitarists I am not convinced that this is appropriate as her guitar contributions were marginal at best (if anything, she should probably be classed as a singer/melodica player...). A pet mini-project of mine which I haven't yet got around to is to collate Talulah Gosh, Heavenly, Marine Research and Tender Trap into a more rational and consistent format, and to create pages for Rob Pursey & Mathew Fletcher (both of whom IMO are considerably more notable in Wikipedia terms than Peter Momtchiloff who does have his own entry); given the 21 year pop-music cycle, Heavenly are likely to have a resurgence of interest soon and it would be nice if the pages weren't such a mess. As you appear to be one of the few people here who also has an interest, would you be in a position to assist with any of this? Iridescent20:47, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I would absolutely love to participate. I think one of the more important things to do if doing this would be to find some of both fletcher's academic papers. --Anoraklibrarian23:02, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good point and one I hadn't thought of. I have Amelia & Rob's (postal) address somewhere & an email address for Cathy - I'll try to see if they're willing to release summaries (or at least titles) of their non-musical work so we can include a list, and also possibly to release some photos into the public domain - there were some p/d photos on the Marine Research website but the links are now all broken. Cathy in particular has very few photos floating around in a musical as opposed to a TV context. (I have a sneaky suspicion regarding the identity of user:queenb999 as well in light of their edit history, so this might get a quick reply.)
My email address from Wikipedia is active (click "email this user" in the toolbox to the right of the screen, under the search bar) if you want to carry on this conversation without cluttering up the talk pages, otherwise I'll continue to monitor this page. Obviously if anyone else reading this is interested, do get in touch as well. (If you email me and don't get a reply, leave a message here or on my talk page as Wikipedia sometimes loses emails.)
