[edit]Does anyone have Alphabets in their cupboard? Could we perhaps get an image? I'll check my loacal IGA but are they really made anymore? Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 10:40, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Move
[edit]- Discussion of merge is here: Talk:List of pasta#Merge.
I propose that the page is moved to pasta shapes or tinned pasta or canned pasta or similar. The current entry is a bit too narrow: pasta shapes come in hoops and many other shapes too (eg: Scooby Doo, Thomas the Tank Engine, etc.). This would help provide sources and allow discussion of related issues such as use in school meals, etc. --h2g2bob (talk) 00:21, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not paper, and there can be separate articles if linked to each other. Dfrg.msc 05:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- And if WP:NOTE is met, warranting a separate discussion. This suggestion still seems valid, especially while this article lacks even one reliable source. MrZaiustalk 15:28, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Has anybody actually seen non-Latin alphabet soup?

- I’ve asked a couple of people, and they thought there was Russian one. Unfortunately, it is hard to find a mention of it on the Web. Here's a mention; a picture (click to enlarge; one of the symbols seems to be “Б”). --AVRS (talk) 10:32, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
The photo in the header.
[edit]So uh... Is that actually a photo of alphabet soup?
Because if it is, all the letters are "O."2601:648:8484:520:DF1:18BA:ACF9:2377 (talk) 03:37, 12 May 2020 (UTC)

tomato...and...
[edit]article says: "Like Campbell's alphabet soup, it [Heinz] contains alphabet pasta canned in tomato sauce."
For over 100 years Campbell's has made alphabet pasta in both a beef soup called "Vegetable Soup" and tomato soup called "Vegetarian Vegetable Soup."2600:4040:5D38:1600:8898:29E6:EB35:C26F (talk) 17:40, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
Popular Mexican version of this not mentioned
[edit]A popular Mexican, sopa de Letras, is not mentioned in this article. The soup has letter shaped pasta, tomato broth (watered down), chicken flavored bouillon and garlic/onion both whole and powdered. Other optional ingredients include whole chicken, whole tomatoes, peppers and other spices. Sopa De Letras 2001 (talk) 19:55, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
