Alcatraz facts and fiction in Popular Culture
[edit]As Alcatraz is no longer a government penal institution, it should be possible to find in wikipedia some information of the islands layout. My interest is from the film "The Rock" where there is supposedly a huge network of tunnels, mines and caverns beneath Alcatraz. Looking at the photograph in the article, the movie has taken enormous liberties with the truth. Yes, it's only a movie.I know it's fiction. Ern Malleyscrub (talk) 13:34, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
