The attacker's real name

[edit]

According to the FBI, "The [attacker's] body has possibly been identified as Ali Hawa Jamal" https://www.fbi.gov/wanted/seeking-info/ali-hawa-jamal Whoever is authorised to edit this page should add this fact, I think.

You can add at the end: Another suspect named Ali Hage Zaki Jalil, who is wanted by the FBI, may have critical information related to the bombing of Alas Chiricanas Airlines Flight 00901. source 59.20.188.222 (talk) 17:59, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

We can't highlight information from primary sources such as the FBI unless secondary sources such as newspapers highlight it first. – Thjarkur (talk) 19:19, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Saw the template stating duplicate refs:

First:

<ref>{{Cite news|date=May 22, 2018|title=Panama 1994 plane crash a 'terror' attack|language=en-GB|work=BBC News|url=https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44207991|access-date=August 2, 2020|archive-date=March 14, 2020|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200314152950/https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44207991|url-status=live}}</ref>

Second:

<ref>{{Cite news|title=Panama says new evidence shows 1994 plane crash 'terrorist' incident|url=https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44207991|work=BBC News|date=May 22, 2018|access-date=May 27, 2018|archive-date=May 27, 2018|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180527234600/https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44207991|url-status=live}}</ref>

They are the same but the date the archive was taken is diffrent.

Propose that:

First ref becomes:

<ref name="BBC05222018">{{Cite news|date=May 22, 2018|title=Panama 1994 plane crash a 'terror' attack|language=en-GB|work=BBC News|url=https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44207991|access-date=August 2, 2020|archive-date=March 14, 2020|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200314152950/https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-44207991|url-status=live}}</ref>

and the other becomes:

<ref name="BBC05222018" />

with the template removed from the top. Thank you. 173.52.235.103 (talk) 08:10, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
