I cleaned things up and changed a lot of details. Because it used the old Britannica as a source the older version was unaware of Hitti's translation. Kleinecke 17:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

"His discussions of the rise and fall of powerful dynasties provide a political moral. His commentaries on methodology are sparse, other than assertions of accuracy.[8]" - What is the point of this statement? It seems more opinion than fact, and the hyperlinked reference page requries a login, rendering the link invalid. Recommend deleting. --ModernMuseum 10:46, 14 November 2013
