- Since you already talk about the Volcanic Eruption in an entire section after your introduction, you could just give the details about where/when it was found in the introduction and move the information about the pumice and ash preserving the fresco to the section where you talk about the eruption. This way you won't be repeating information in both sections.
- Your introduction does a really good job of presenting your topic. One thing you could expand upon is what is B1 of Building Beta. Was the site split into different zones? I know the introduction is not really supposed to be bogged down with details but as someone who does not have a background of the topic, I was curious to know if there was some significance of this particular building/why was it called that.
- Wikipedia already has a site on the Eruption of Thera so you could link to that on your article. I think you do a really good job of condensing the information about the eruption for your purposes but it would be nice to have that if someone wants more information on it.
- In your section about the spinal deformity, you mention that it was "unfortunately" possible for them to develop spondylolisthesis, I would remove unfortunately because it could be considered personal opinion/not neutral. I only mention this because when we edited a previously existing source, I started off by saying that what I was saying was interesting and that word was edited out by an Wikipedia editor as "it was considered writer opinion".
- I think it is really interesting that athletic sports were thought to have even a religious connotation. Maybe you could expand upon that thought; you mention that this is what is thought because its practice was so widespread but it would be nice if you could give more detail/depth as to why.
- Overall, I think this is a really great start! It was really interesting to read and well put together.

This is a concise summary of the subject, I only have minor suggestions.
-You have a few instances in which you give an opinion, notably the "unfortunately" in the spinal section. It sucks that you have to do this, but maybe try to have less personality in your writing? Just a few less opinions, a little less voice :P.
-Spondylolisthesis has a wiki page already. You can link it and save a little explanation?
-The second sentence of your introduction is a little hard to read. Cutting out a few commas might help with this.
-Do you know why skin color indicates gender? The audience might benifit from an explanation.
Other than these I think you have a good, well-structured article! It was a good read, and clearly informative. Ekparrott (talk) 04:03, 6 November 2017 (UTC)

Comments from Prof. Paga
[edit]Hi Gabriella - this is a really great start to your article! You already have some excellent comments from 2 peer-reviewers, so I'll just add a few of my own suggestions.
- Add hyperlinks to other Wikipedia articles (Bronze Age, Minoans, Akrotiri, etc.)
- As Lucia mentioned, you could move some discussion of the preservation of the frescoes from the lead paragraph into the section about the volcanic eruption. It might be useful to briefly describe how exactly a volcano can preserve something as delicate as a fresco.
- The final section could definitely be expanded. Perhaps add a comparison image of sports in Minoan culture (another fresco, gold ring, etc.) to highlight your point here. As Lucia mentioned, it would also be great if you could expand on the connections between sports and religion.
- Consider possibly adding a bit more detail about how the frescoes were actually painted. You mentioned this briefly in the lead paragraph, but could go into more detail. Where did they get the colors, for instance?
