Significant updates and neutral references added to enhance the objectivity and accuracy of this article. July 29, 2011 Center for Air Commerce, Kenan Institute, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill CynthiaSR (talk) 15:38, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article still has a promotional tone and seems to rely primarily on concepts and works promoted by one particular person who appears to have built his career on the concept (and is the CEO of a company associated with it). I suspect that this article and the Aerotropolis article should be merged, and perhaps both of them should be merged into the article about John D. Kasarda. Also see WP:NEOLOGISM. —BarrelProof (talk) 12:09, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I second the proposal to merge with Aerotropolis. Literature indicates the terms are interchangeable among researchers, with industry use varying mostly by geographical region.[1]https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jairtraman.2022.102271 AdmiresCycles (talk) 20:57, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
