Among the references used so far, 15 are clearly from reputable news outlets independent of the subject (phys.org, CNN, aftenbladet.no, Science magazine, BBC news, sail-world.com, Der Spiegel, Deutsche Welle, Thüringer Allgemeine, Die Welt, Daily Sabah, Euronews, Hurriyet), from different countries (USA, UK, Germany, Turkey, Norway) and spanning about 18 years. That's beyond a "passing mention". 11 of them are in English, 2 in German and in Norwegian.
