I think that whether A.S. Embree really was a former minister is subject to verification. Gibbs Smith is the source for this information. There was, during the period prior to A.S. Embree's fame as a union organizer, another man by the name of A.S. Embree in Topeka, Kansas, who was a minister. Were they the same person? Were they possibly father and son? Could Gibbs Smith have made a mistake due to identical names? Or was this just a coincidence? Not sure; more research may shed some light. Richard Myers (talk) 03:22, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've added Embree's full name, as well as those of his father and mother. It seems as though he wasn't a minister, however, his father was, so at least, with my cursory glance, I can't say if he was or wasn't with one hundred percent certainty. I'm going to do more research into it in the future. What I can say with one hundred percent certainty, is that his father certainly wasn't the man in Topeka. Perhaps it was the A.S. Embree that is the subject of this article.

I would very much appreciate someone updating my website addition. The archived URL is currently not formatted correctly, but I am unsure how it isn't correct. It's directly the URL from archive.org.
