I've never heard of this event before, but it seems very strange to me that there has been a 55 yard race as well as 60 metres and 60 yards. It seems more likely that the origin of this distance is 60 yards (54.86 metres) Kjetilho (talk) 11:55, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
