Mortar?

Same comment as I made on Talk:2S4 Tyulpan. Isn't the defining characteristic of a Mortar (weapon) the fact that its muzzle-loaded and doesn't have a Breechloader? So why is the Nona classified as a mortar when it is breech-loaded (and has a rifled barrel)? Mztourist (talk) 08:19, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
