[edit]

Can someone request a map, as per last year's request (Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Map workshop/Archive/Jun 2022#Tour de France Femmes 2022)? Kiwipete (talk) 07:49, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Kiwipete done, thanks to @M.Bitton! Turini2 (talk) 10:46, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this article we have links to General classification in the Tour de France, Points classification in the Tour de France and Mountains classification in the Tour de France and Young rider classification in the Tour de France, when they are all exclusively related to the men's TdF event? There are general articles for all of these that should be used: General classification, Points classification and Mountains classification and Young rider classification. Using links that relate solely to another race is a violation of WP:EASTEREGG. Either link to general article, or create new articles for the Tour de France Femmes and link to them, but linking to men's articles is nonsense (and cannot believe the 2022 article is a GA with this nonsense included). Pinging Turini2 since they reverted me on this. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:23, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you think it's best to change all of them, that can be done - I was going by consistency with the previous article. Surely the link to yellow jersey is better to the TdF page rather than a generic page about a general classification? Turini2 (talk) 10:28, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yellow Jersey redirects to General classification in the Tour de France. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:40, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Joseph2302 Yes, my point was that yellow jersey links best to the Tour de France GC article, rather than a generic page about GC. Separate from that, I did a little look, and other pages like Annemiek van Vleuten also link to General classification in the Tour de France or General classification in the Giro d'Italia.
