Debate section coverage incomplete

[edit]

The current "Debate" section summarizes one of Hillary Clinton's arguments (at length) and none of Barack Obama's. It should probably be filled out a little bit to provide a more balanced summary and also to include any information significant to the Ohio primary. --Bryan H Bell (talk) 03:27, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delegate count

[edit]

It is being reported:

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/4/17/20252/2491/370/497954
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/04/18/916955.aspx

that absentee and provisional ballots in Cincinnati adjusted the percentages so as to flip one delegate, making the Ohio totals as 74/67. No change of Green Papers yet. Agricolae (talk) 18:10, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You might replace the Green Papers link with http://election.cbsnews.com/campaign2008/state.shtml?state=OH and add a note (with reference) to the adjustment. Andareed (talk) 19:53, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the 'major media' links don't explain why their solution is better than the Green Papers, and the one that does is more hearsay (from the benefiting campaign) than reliable notice. There is a good reason to stick with a single reliable source (GPs) for the numbers rather than picking and choosing, unless there is a solid basis for deviating, and I don't think we have a strong enough source. I just wanted to give a heads up that there may be a change in this vote, thought to be 'a wrap'. Agricolae (talk) 00:58, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Flag of Dayton, Ohio.gif, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.

File:Seal of Ohio.svg Nominated for speedy Deletion

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
