Kaiser Chiefs only spent one week at #1 with Ruby. #1s which include Mika's "Grace Kelly" and Leona Lewis "A Moment Like This" have ben replaced by someone with "Ruby"
Rewrite
[edit]If this article covers the year 2007 in British music, it shouldn't have any discussion about non-UK acts such as Gnarls Barkley, Nelly Furtado etc. It should either be rewritten or moved to a title such as 2007 in music in the United Kingdom. Extraordinary Machine 14:46, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I would support the move as it's more about activity in the British charts rather than releases by British artists. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 17:23, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
If this is the case then all the British Music will need adjusting as all the years that have gone by have mentioned non-british acts. All the articles need to mention Non-British acts as the charts do have these included. (Matt Hargreaves) 29/07/07 22.11
Sortable tables
[edit]AnemoneProjectors just made two of the tables sortable. The ability to sort the tables is a great thing but there is a significant bug: the sort function doesn't work with dates. This means that once sorted another way the default order (date sorted) cannot be returned. Do we live with that or remove the sort function? violet/riga (t) 14:35, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think we should live with it, though it's a shame. Other years in British music that I looked at today have sortable tables. It goes back to the default order when the page is refreshed. I just wanted it for the sales figures really, to see how well "Bleeding Love" is doing this week (over 126,000 sales so far) compared to the rest of the charts so far! anemone
|projectors 14:44, 26 October 2007 (UTC)- I'm sure it must have been put on bugzilla already, but I'm not sure how important the developers will see such a thing. violet/riga (t) 14:51, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think it would sort by date if we used the format [[2007-12-20]]. anemone

Music Week as a source
[edit]Is it a good idea to use a site that requires a subscription as a source? Is there no other website that gives the same information for free? anemone|projectors 19:11, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- Can we add additional sources if we find them? Such as this? anemone
