Season advertising
[edit]I refer in the article to the 1996 Teaser ads "Superleague: It's Coming" including Bradley Clyde inside a rodeo corral tackling a runaway bull. Does anyone remember any other executions ? -Sticks66 13:54, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- I was only 9 at the time, but I'm sure I remember some scene in a dense jungle. That's all I am sure about - there may have been somebody tackling a crocodile? Sorry, can't really help here. mdmanser 14:54, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- I remember being in the movie theatre and there was this ad with shirtless big name players (I'm sure Clyde, Renouf and Tallis were amongst them) tackling eachother and whatnot in this kind of darkness while a song was playing like "when two tribes go to war.. something something can score". Might be the space-themed one you talk about in the article.--Jeff79 19:22, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
- In 1997 Jon Stevens recorded a cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Two Tribes". It was also the time in Australia when Rugby League was going through a change with the split to "Super League". Television hosts, Foxtel, decided to use this song as their theme song for the series. Found this.--Jeff79 (talk) 08:15, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
