  • 19:4219:42, 22 August 2024 diff hist −69 List of German inventions and discoveries Undid revision 1241717797 by Pittigrilli (talk) REVERTED my own edit - according to the image desc on Commons, the Schnitzel IS depicted with Fettucine, not with the German "Bandnudeln", hence my edit was wrong. BUT - I might add that the standard noodles served in Germany with a Jägerschnitzel would be German "Bandnudeln", definitely not Italian Fettucine. I am fed up though, thanks for the moment :-) Tag: Undo

Incidentally, this is also the literal translation of the correct (here: also the standard/only) German term 'Bandnudeln'. The currently used Italian term "Fettucine" for these noodles is wrong (and the term relatively unknown in Germany), but good as an example/comparison, so I left it but changed the explanation Tag: Reverted

I added that to the intro, of course I do not have sources but you may check that readily with wikiquote etc.
