British Government had imposed a "Shoot at sight" order under martial law in Solapur in 1930 to suppress the freedom movement. Shrikisan Sarada along with Mallappa Dhanshetty, Abdul Rasool Qurban Hussain, and Jagannath Bhagwan Shinde defied the martial law.
