The Celebs are a celebrity supergroup created by Grahame and Jack Corbyn with the intention of raising money for charity. The group was formed in 2018 and consists of a changing mix of TV presenters, musicians, radio DJs, actors and sports personalities.[1]

History

2018

In 2018, 27 celebrities gathered at Metropolis Studios to record an original Christmas song called "Rock with Rudolph", written and produced by Grahame and Jack Corbyn. The song was in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. It was released digitally through independent record label Saga Entertainment on 30 November 2018. The music video debuted exclusively with The Sun on 29 November 2018 and had its first TV showing on Good Morning Britain on 30 November 2018.[2][3][4]

2020

In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Celebs reunited with new members including Frank Bruno and X Factor winner Sam Bailey to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society and Action for Children. They recorded a new rendition of "Merry Christmas Everyone" originally recorded by Shakin' Stevens. It was released digitally on 11 December 2020 by independent record label Saga Entertainment. The music video debuted on Good Morning Britain the day before the song's release.[5][6][7][8][9]

2021

In 2021, Saga Entertainment released a cover of The BeatlesLet It Be, which was produced by Grahame and Jack Corbyn assisted by Stephen Large. The song was recorded at Metropolis Studios, in support of Mind (charity) and released on 3 December 2021. Shona McGarty performed lead vocal backed by The Celebs which this year included Georgia Hirst, Anne Hegerty, Ivan Kaye and Eunice Olumide, amongst others.[10][11][12]

2022

In September 2022, The Celebs returned to the studio to mark the 40th anniversary of the Michael Jackson classic album Thriller and raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, with a new rendition of the title track, which was released on the independent record label Saga Entertainment and produced by Grahame and Jack Corbyn. Leading The Celebs this year was Jo O'Meara of S Club, backed by Anne Hegerty, Ivan Kaye, Tyger Drew-Honey, Bethannie Hare and ITV News presenter Faye Barker.[13]

2023

In August 2023, The Celebs reformed to record an original Christmas song written called So Delicious, produced by Grahame and Jack Corbyn and released on independent record label Saga Entertainment. This year Love Island (2015 TV series) series 10 star Abi Moores joined The Only Way Is Essex star Shelby Tribble, Laura Tobin, Melinda Messenger, Times Top 100 Influencer Tamara Kalinic, a collection of TikTok stars amongst others to raise money for released on independent record label Saga Entertainment.[14]

2024

In late October 2024, The Celebs gathered together to record a cover of The Beatles classic, All You Need Is Love. This year The Celebs were formed by Frank Bruno, Andrew Pierce, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (British TV series) 2012 winner Charlie Brooks, pantomime leegend Christopher Biggins amongst others. The song was produced by Grahame and Jack Corbyn.[15]
