Storylines

[edit]

The event includes matches that each resulted from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portrayed heroes, villains, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches. Results were predetermined by Progress' creative writers,[3] while storylines were produced on Progress' events airing on the Demand PROGRESS streaming service.[4]

Cara Noir and El Hijo del Vikingo were initially scheduled to be part of the event's card, but the latter pulled out of the match due to injury.[5]
