Paula Butterly is an Irish Fine Gael politician who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Louth constituency since the 2024 general election.[1]
Butterly was co-opted to Louth County Council in 2021 to fill the seat vacated by Colm Markey on his apointment to the European Parliament. She served as Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council from 2023 to 2024.[2] She retained her seat at the 2024 Louth County Council election, and remained leader of the Fine Gael group on the council.
She was later selected with Senator John McGahon to contest the general election in the Louth constituency.[3]
A barrister by profession her father, John, was a councillor in Ardee.[4]
