Our Movie (Korean: 우리 영화) is an upcoming South Korean melodrama television series co-written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, directed by Lee Jung-heum, and starring Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-been. It is a touching love story about Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum, who each live with their own illnesses, completing a melodrama based on a limited time. It is scheduled to premiere on SBS TV in the first half of 2025, and will air every Friday and Saturday.
Synopsis
[edit]Our Movie tells the story of a film director suffering from the sophomore jinx and a time-limited actor who wants to live as the main character of his life only at the end of his life.

- A man who followed in the footsteps of his father, a master of the film industry, and became a film director. He received worldwide attention for his debut film, which earned him the nickname of a genius, but he is now a character who is obsessed with the sophomore jinx and does nothing. After a long hiatus of five years, he begins working on his second film based on a limited-time subject.
- Jeon Yeo-been as Lee Da-eum[1]
- An aspiring actor suffering from a rare and incurable disease. Da-eum, who is terminally ill and has a limited-time, is a person with an incredible sociability that everyone in the hospital knows. While giving advice on a limited-time film, she becomes interested in the scenario and experiences a new turning point as an aspiring actor.

[edit]Our Movie is a melodrama genre directed by Lee Jung-heum, co-written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, and produced by Beyond J and SLL.[3]
Casting
[edit]On July 2, 2024, 935 Entertainment told Newsen that they're positively reviewing for Namkoong Min's appearance.[4] The next day, Jeon Yeo-been was reportedly cast as the female lead.[5] According to SPOTV News report on August 20, Lee Seol has confirmed her appearance.[6] On September 27, the production team of the series announced that Namkoong and Jeon had confirmed their appearances.[1] On December 16, Xports News reported that Seo Hyun-woo had confirmed his appearance.[2]
Release
[edit]Our Movie was initially discussed to be scheduled for tvN, but it was moved to SBS TV. The series is scheduled to premiere on SBS in the first half of 2025 and will air every Friday and Saturday.[7][8]
