The Office of the Council of State (Thai: สำนักงานคณะกรรมการกฤษฎีกา) is a Thai government advisory board within the Office of the Prime Minister.[1] An agency directly under the prime minister of Thailand, the Council of State serves as a legal advisory body for the Royal Thai Government.[2]

Function

The Council of State vets the qualifications of candidates nominated for cabinet positions.[3][4][5] It is also charged with determining the constitutional of legislation and releasing draft laws for public feedback.[2][6]
