Nuno Jorge Nobre Barbosa Malheiro (born 1 February 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Icelandic club Grindavík.[1] Born in Portugal, he plays for the São Tomé and Príncipe national team.
Club career
[edit]On 29 July 2017, Malheiro made his professional debut with Zagłębie Sosnowiec in a I liga match against Olimpia Grudziądz.[2]
International career
[edit]On 13 March 2024, Malheiro was called up by the São Tomé and Príncipe national team.[3] He made his debut on 6 June 2024 in a World Cup qualifier against Malawi at the Bingu National Stadium. He started the game and was substituted after 40 minutes, as Malawi won 3–1.[4]
