Nohl Laurence Williams is an American college football cornerback for the California Golden Bears. He previously played for the UNLV Rebels.
Early life
[edit]Williams attended Pacifica High School in Oxnard, California. He was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the UNLV Rebels.[1][2]
College career

[edit]During Williams' first two seasons with the Rebels in 2020 and 2021, he totaled 58 tackles, five pass deflections, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery.[3] In 2022, he had a breakout season being named second-team all-Mountain West Conference after totaling 40 tackles, five pass deflections, three interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.[4] After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Williams entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[5]
California
[edit]Williams transferred to play for the California Golden Bears.[6] In his first season with the Golden Bears in 2023, he totaled 53 tackles with two being for a loss, six pass deflections, two interceptions, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two touchdowns.[7] In week one of the 2024 season, Williams notched an interception and an 80-yard kickoff return touchdown, as he helped California beat UC Davis.[8] In week two, Williams was named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) defensive back of the week after making two interceptions in the Golden Bears win over Auburn.[9]
