Niko Antonios Kotoulas is a Greek-American pianist and Producer.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Kotoulas played basketball from an early age all the way through college, including four years at Johns Hopkins University.[2] He was a co-captain of the team during his senior years.[3][4] He was the President of the Hellenic Students Association and Marshal L. Salant Investment Team at Johns Hopkins.[2] He received the Hellenic Times scholarship during his time at the university.[5]
Career
[edit]After graduating from Johns Hopkins University in 2016, Kotoulas launched his music career while concurrently working at Morgan Stanley in Manhattan, New York.[6] He runs his own label known as Alpha Music LLC.[7] He is also the founder of Piano For Producers, an online piano training platform for producers.[8] He also founded MusicCreator.com, an online music creation and learning platform that enables users to create better melodies and chord progressions with MIDI packs.[8]
In 2017, Kotoulas released his first studio album titled Dreams.[7] He has created self-produced music videos featuring piano covers of popular songs, such as Justin Timberlake's "Take Back the Night".[9] He also covered Swedish House Mafia, The Script, Imagine Dragons, and more.[10]
