The 22233/22234 New Jalpaiguri - Patna Vande Bharat Express is India's 43rd Vande Bharat Express train, which connects the city of Twin Cities, Siliguri in West Bengal with the capital city Patna in Bihar. [1][2] This express train was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing from Ahmedabad on March 12 2024. [3][4]

This train is operated by Indian Railways, connecting New Jalpaiguri Jn, Kishanganj, Katihar, Naugachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Patna Sahib and Patna Jn. It is operated with train numbers 22233/22234 on 6 days a week basis.[5]

Rakes

It is the forty-first 2nd Generation and twenty-seventh Mini Vande Bharat 2.0 Express train[broken anchor] which was designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[6]
