Neoh Hui-min is a microbiologist; researcher; and Deputy Director of Research, Innovation and Industry & Community Partnerships at the UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute of the National University of Malaysia. She took office on 1 December 2017.[1][2]

Education
[edit]Neoh joined UKM Medical Molecular Biology Institute in 2010 having completed her PhD at the Juntendo University in Japan. [citation needed]
Career
[edit]Neoh is a microbiologist and researcher with a focus on antimicrobial resistance and the virulence of nosocomial pathogens, particularly Staphylococcus aureus. Her research also includes the diagnosis and pathogenesis of sepsis, the role of gut microbiota in colorectal cancer, and the seroepidemiology of dengue and chikungunya, primarily within the Malaysian population.
On 15 February 2017, Neoh was appointed as the Deputy Director for Research, Innovation, and Networking at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, a position she held until 14 February 2020. During her tenure, she spearheaded several key initiatives to strengthen research collaborations and innovation strategies, greatly increasing the university's research output and partnerships with international institutions.
