My Melody & Kuromi (Japanese: マイメロディとクロミ, Hepburn: Maimerodi to Kuromi) is an upcoming Japanese–American stop-motion animated television series based on the eponymous characters, My Melody and Kuromi, created by the entertainment company Sanrio. Produced in-house by Toruko from Wit Studio and directed by Tomoki Misato, the series is slated for a July 2025 premiere on Netflix.

Release
[edit]In January 2025, Netflix announced a new stop-motion anime series that is to be directed by Tomoki Misato and written by Shuko Nemoto.[1] It is set to premiere in July on the platform.[1] The series will serve as both a semicentennial and vicennial celebration for My Melody (50 years) and Kuromi (20 years), respectively.[2]
