Mohammed Ramzan Ali Miya, born in Nepal in 1978, is a Nepali writer, scholar, and human rights activist based in Doha, Qatar. [1] He is known for his writings in Nepali and Arabic languages and his work with the Nepali diaspora community in Qatar. [2] Ramzan Ali Miya has authored over thirty-eight books and translated "Great Minds on India" into Arabic, which was released in Dubai and Doha. [3][4] His notable work "Maile Dekheko Qatar" (Qatar as I have seen), published in 2021, offers insights into Qatar's history, culture, and the Nepali diaspora. [2] As president of the Nepal-Qatar Friendship Association, Ramzan Ali Miya has been recognized for his community work. In 2023, he was named a Global Peace Ambassador by the Global Peace Chain (GPC), an organization promoting international understanding. [5] [6]
