Module:Location map/data/USA New York rivers is a location map definition used to overlay markers and labels on an equirectangular projection map of USA New York rivers. The markers are placed by latitude and longitude coordinates on the default map or a similar map image.

x = 100 - 100*($2 - -71.69)/(-80.1 - -71.69) - (($1 - 42.884)/5)*($2 - -75.90)- An expression to calculate a location on the map via its longitude; evaluates as 0 along the left edge and 100 along the right edge
y = 100 - 100*($1 - 40.24)/(45.448 - 40.24) - abs($2 + 75.9)/3- An expression to calculate a location on the map via its latitude; evaluates as 0 along the top edge and 100 along the bottom edge

)- The default mark image to display with this map. This can be overridden by the
markparameter in Template:Location map, which would otherwise default to Red pog.svg (
).
