Miss You is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by N. Rajasekar and produced by Samuel Mathew, under 7 Miles Per Second Productions. [1][2] The film stars Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath in lead roles with the supporting cast includes Bala Saravanan, Lollu Sabha Maran, Sastika Rajendran and Karunakaran.

Synopsis

Vasudevan starts off disliking Subbulakshmi he often clashes with. Over time, however, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn to her, challenging his own feelings and assumptions. His journey moves from indifference and annoyance to a deeper understanding and connection.

Miss You stars Siddharth as male lead and Ashika Ranganath in the lead female role, with other casts that includes JP, Ponvannan, Naren, Anupama, Rama, Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, Lollu sabha Maaran, and Sastika Rajendran in supporting roles.[3] Following the success of Chithha (2023), actor Siddharth has teamed up with Samuel Mathew on their new venture[4][5] The first-look poster, revealing the title, was launched on June 6, 2024, by popular actors R. Madhavan, Sivakarthikeyan, and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.[6]

Music

The music and background score for Miss You were composed by Ghibran,[7] marking his first collaboration with Siddharth. The audio rights were acquired by T-Series.[7] The film features a total of eight songs. The first single, "Dhama Dhama," was released by director Venkat Prabhu on July 5, 2024.[8] The second single, "Sonnaru Nainaa," written by lyricist Rokesh and performed by Siddharth and music director Santhosh Narayanan, was released on August 21, 2024.[9] The third single, "Nee Enna Paathiyee," written by Mohan Rajan of Lover and Lubber Pandhu fame, was released on October 22, 2024, and sung by Siddharth.

Miss You was initially scheduled to release on 29 November 2024,[10] distributed by Red Giant Movies across Tamil Nadu, with Ayangaran International handling the international release rights.[citation needed] However, the film's release was postponed due to cyclone alerts in Tamil Nadu.[11]
