Make "Errors" all-lowercase, please. I think one of the plurals might be redundant, too – – Gurch 14:50, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Made errors lower-case. ~ Riana 16:17, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Restore default

[edit]

Please delete (or completely blank by removing all text) this message, MediaWiki:Permissionserrorstext and MediaWiki:Permissionserrorstext-withaction to restore the default (complete and meaningful) error messages. We've got some complaints from non-sysops about things like [1] showing only uncomprehensible "Unable to proceed" headers without the usual info on what happened. --Nemo 09:20, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thanks for your help with all of these system messages. — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 18:07, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Correction needed

[edit]

Please refer to Wikipedia talk:Requests for permissions/Confirmed#Correction needed to error message. I tried to transclude the discussion here but the whole page got transcluded instead.

A clarification is required for the substitution text that appears when a logged-in but not-confirmed editor tries to upload an image. The text should describe alternate ways to submit images, similar to the message in the template {{RFPC|ndf}}. I believe that fixing the message would significantly reduce the number of requests for confirmation. ~Amatulić (talk) 19:23, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 11:43, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
