Storyline
[edit]Mankan (also known as Mannequin) is an Iranian romance and drama TV series that aired from 2019 to 2020. The show revolves around the lives of Kaveh and Hamta, who are in a romantic relationship. However, their love story is complicated by social and economic challenges. Kaveh, played by (Amir Hossein Arman), and Hamta, portrayed by (Nazanin Bayati), come from different social classes, which creates tension and obstacles in their relationship. The series explores themes of economic inequality and the struggles faced by individuals from lower-income backgrounds. As Kaveh and Hamta navigate their love story, they encounter various challenges that test their commitment to each other. The series also features other characters, such as Akhgar, played by Mohammad Reza Foroutan, and Katayoun, portrayed by Merila Zarei, who add depth and complexity to the storyline. Hamta on the other hand faced a lot of problems which lead to meeting Kaveh again.
