Storyline
[edit]Mankan (also known as Mannequin) is an Iranian romance and drama TV series that aired from 2019 to 2020. The show revolves around the lives of Kaveh and Hamta, who are in a romantic relationship. However, their love story is complicated by social and economic challenges. Kaveh, played by (Amir Hossein Arman), and Hamta, portrayed by (Nazanin Bayati), come from different social classes, which creates tension and obstacles in their relationship. The series explores themes of economic inequality and the struggles faced by individuals from lower-income backgrounds. As Kaveh and Hamta navigate their love story, they encounter various challenges that test their commitment to each other. The series also features other characters, such as Akhgar, played by Mohammad Reza Foroutan, and Katayoun, portrayed by Merila Zarei, who add depth and complexity to the storyline. "Well basically kaveh's father is in jail because he couldn't pay back the money he got form the bank. So kaveh makes a deal with his dad's cousin who is very rich to marry her. So the deal was that she paid for the money to free his dad and kaveh would be married to her untill he pays her back. but the problem is he was still in love with hamta even though he had to end things sadly. Hamta on the other hand faced a lot of problems which lead to meeting Kaveh again.
