- Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images#Ethnic groups (MOS:PEOPLEGALLERY, MOS:NOETHNICGALLERIES) – guideline against using galleries of supposedly representative individuals to illustrate groups of people
- MOS:SANDWICH (part of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images#Location) – guideline on avoiding display problems of multiple nearby images (including gallery markup as an alternative).
