Karla María Rabelo Estrada
Karla María Rabelo Estrada (Villahermosa, Tabasco; March 15, 1984) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the National Regeneration Movement party.[1] Since September 1, 2021, she has been a deputy in the LXV Legislature of the Congress of the Union.
Early years
[edit]From 2002 to 2006, Karla María Rabelo Estrada studied law at the Universidad del Valle de Mexico.[1] She worked as a social issues journalist at Tabasco Hoy newspaper from 2002 to 2012.[1][2]
Political career
[edit]In the 2018 Tabasco state elections, she was elected as a deputy of the LXIII Legislature of the Congress of the State of Tabasco, representing District 16, based in Huimanguillo.[2] Within Congress, she was president of the Commission of Governance and Constitutional Points.[1] In the 2021 federal elections, she was elected as deputy of the LXV Legislature of the Congress of the Union representing District 2 of the state of Tabasco, based in the city of Heroica Cárdenas.[2] She currently serves as the secretary of the Constitutional Points Commission within the Congress.[3]
