Joice Espinoza (born June 6, 2007[citation needed]) is a Filipino recording artist[1] and a beauty queen.[2][3]

Early Life

Joice Espinoza, born in Olongapo. From a young age, Espinoza showed a strong interest in music, pageantry, and performing arts. Her passion for music began with theme songs from children's shows and cartoons. Her mother enrolled her in vocal training in her hometown.[4]

As early as 10, Espinoza has been competing professionally in local and global stages such as Princess of the World in Pomorie, Bulgaria, where she won in the voice and modeling categories.[5]

Career

In 2023, Espinoza competed on ABS-CBN's It's Showtime in season 7 of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" segment, advancing as a daily winner. She has also appeared in GMA Network's shows, including The Clash and TiktoClock's Tanghalan ng Kampeon.[6]

In 2024, Espinoza has garnered a nomination for Best New Female Artist at the 37th Aliw Awards.[7]

In the same year, she debuted her original song, Pangako Mo, which was penned by her talent manager John Rey Malto.[8] Also in the same year, her original song won the Parai Musical International Awards in Chennai, India, as well as the Global Music Awards 2024 in California. The music video for her song was also awarded at the World Music and Independent Film Festival in Virginia, United States.[9]
