John Saban (born December 19, 1928)[2] is an American football player.

Life and career

Saban was the brother of Lou Saban,[3] a football coach at Case Tech.[4][5] He was a marine during World War II.[6]

Saban played for the Xavier Musketeers football team from 1948 to 1951.[2] The next year, he was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 30th round of the 1952 NFL Draft;[7] he did not make the final roster.
