John Carley is an American politician. He is the member-elect for the 29th district of the South Dakota Senate.

Life and career

Carley attended Biola University, earning his bachelor's degree in 2005.[1]

In June 2024, Carley defeated Kirk Chaffee in the Republican primary election for the 29th district of the South Dakota Senate.[2][3] No Democratic candidate or incumbent was nominated to challenge him in the general election. He succeeded Dean Wink. He assumes office on January 14, 2025.[1]
