Irvin Muçaj (1978) is an Albanian screenwriter and filmmaker who has worked on a number of Albanian and Italian screenplays.

Biography

Irvin Mucai holds a position as a lecturer in directing and screenwriting at the University of Arts, Tirana. His work includes collaborations with his father, Ibrahim Muçaj, a well-known Albanian director, and developing his own projects in the field of cinema.[1]

Irvin's film Il vento è cambiato (The Wind Has Changed), co-directed with Italian director Massimo Federico, competed at the national film festival in Genoa, Italy. The film was selected from a pool of 500 submissions and was one of 26 competing films at the festival.[2] Although this film didn't win, Irvin worked with Dionis Papadhimitri, another Albanian screenwriter, to create Love: Dashuri, which ended up winning Best Screenplay at the 2021 NOVA Film Festival.[3]

Irvin's most recent work is Dashnori, a love story.[4]

Irvin works as a tour guide with years of experience. Due to his primary occupation of scriptwriting, Irvin is able to leverage his storytelling talents to deliver engaging and unforgettable tours.[5]
