Ignacio Estrada

Ignacio Estrada (1946 – January 28, 2024) was an American ventriloquist based in South Texas.[1][2]

Life

Ignacio “Nacho” Estrada was born in Edinburg, to María (Nieves) Estrada and Salvador Estrada, and was known for his two puppets, Maclovio and Tortiya Monster.[3][4] He moved to Eagle Pass and worked as a teacher in special education. Lived in Uvalde for a while. He eventually settled down in San Antonio to raise his family.[3] Ignacio Estrada died on January 28, 2024, at age 77, at his home in San Antonio after a lengthy illness. He was a Jehova's Witness.[2]
