Hindusthan College of Arts & Science (HICAS) is an educational institution located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1998 by the Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust (HECT), it is an autonomous college affiliated with Bharathiar University.

History

HICAS was founded by Sri. T.S.R. Khannaiyann under the Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust in 1998. The institution started with an intake of just 144 students and now accommodates over 9,300 students annually across various academic programs. It became an autonomous institution in 2015, empowering it to design its own curriculum and conduct exams, while still awarding degrees conferred by Bharathiar University.

Affiliation and accreditation

HICAS is affiliated with Bharathiar University and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has been awarded ISO certification for maintaining high standards of education and management.
