Graham Crowley

Graham Crowley (born 1950)[1] is an artist based in Suffolk.[2] He studied at Saint Martin’s School of Art and the Royal College of Art,[1] later becoming Professor of Painting at the RCA.[2]

From the mid-nineties Crowley lived in West Cork, during which time his work was inspired by the landscapes of the area.[1] Craig Burnett, writing for Modern Painters, compared Crowley's work to J. M. W. Turner and John Constable.[3]

Crowley won the John Moores Painting Prize in 2023, having entered ten times previously since 1976.[4]
