George Farmer (businessman)

George Farmer, born c. 1989, is a British entrepreneur, businessman and activist.[1][2][3] He is a former chairman of Turning Point UK and the former CEO of Parler and Parlement Technologies.[4][5][6][7]

He is married to American political commentator Candace Owens.[8][9][10] He is also the son of Michael Farmer, Baron Farmer.[11][12]

Biography

Farmer attended Oxford University, where he earned a degree in theology.[13] While at Oxford, Farmer was a member of the Bullingdon Club.[14][15]

Farmer took over as CEO of Parler, and its parent company Parlement Technologies, in May 2021.[16][17][18][19] It was during Farmer's tenure as CEO when Kanye West tried to take over the social networking service.[20] In April 2023, it was announced Farmer would step down from his role as CEO.[21][22][23]

Farmer proposed marriage to Owens via a FaceTime call on December 29, 2018, 17 days after meeting each other for the first time in London.[24][25] They married in 2019 in Trump Winery.[26] Farmer and Owens have three children.[24] Farmer resides in Nashville, Tennessee.[27][28] He is a Catholic.[1]
