Gary Butler (born January 11, 1951) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for the Rice Owls,[1] Butler was selected in the second round by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played two seasons in Kansas City before joining the Chicago Bears for 1975. After a year off of football he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
