English: The transgenic mice can be crossed with other transgenic mice generating tri transgenic or multiple transgenic mice. Crossbreeding with a reporter mice or inducible mice will generate multiple transgenes in the mammary gland as the promoter is mammary specific. Cells from new transgenic mice mammary glands can be transplanted in the cleared mammary fat pad or in lateral tail vein (in immunodeficient recipient mice) recipient to see the metastasis at ectopic sites. Mice have ten mammary glands and all of them can be harvested from transgenic mice to make single-cell suspension for metastases study assays
