Summary
| Description |
English: Elevated view of a freight train in the hills just to the north of Alice Springs, on 16 January 2004. In all likelihood this was the first freight train on the new Alice Springs to Darwin line, which arrived in Darwin the next day. Hauled by two NR class and one CL class diesel-electric locomotives, the train comprised crew cars and flatcars mounted by containers. |
