Public domain
This photograph is in the public domain in Finland, because either a period of 50 years has elapsed from the year of creation or the photograph was first published before 1966. The section 49a of the Finnish Copyright Act (404/1961, amended 607/2015) specifies that photographs not considered to be "works of art" become public domain 50 years after they were created. The 50 years from creation protection period came into force in 1991. Before that the protection period was 25 years from the year of first publication according to the §16 of the law of protection of photographs of 1961. Material already released to public domain according to the 1961 law remains in public domain, and therefore all photographs (but not photographic works of art) released before 1966 are in the public domain. See Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Finland for details.

First verse

Oma Karjalais-suomalaiskansamme maa,
Vapaa Pohjolan Neuvostojen tasavalta.
Kotimetsäimme kauneus öin kajastaa
Revontultemme taivaalta leimuavalta.

omɑʔ kɑrjɑlɑjs suɫʷmɑlɑjskɑnsɑmeʔ mɑːʔ,
ʋɑpɑːʔ poh̝jolɑn newʋostojen tɑsɑʋɑltɑʔ
kotimetsæjmeʔ kɑwnews øjn kɑjɑstɑːʔ
reʋontultemeʔ tɑjʋɑːltaʔ lejmuʕʋɑltɑʔ

Родная страна нашего Карело-Финского народа,
Свободная Северная Советская республика.
Наших родных лесов красота ночами отражается
На нашем Северном сиянии, пылающем на небе.

Our land of the Karelian-Finnish peoples,
Free northern republic of Soviets!
Our forests' beauty by night is reflected
From our blazing skies of aurora borealis.

Chorus

Neuvostoliitto on voittamaton,
Se kansamme suur-isänmaa ijät on.
Sen Tienä on Kansojen Kunniantie,
Se Karjalan Kansankin voittoihin vie.

newʋostoliːtoʔ on ʋojtɑmɑton,
seʔ kɑnsɑmeʔ suːr isænmɑːʔ ijæt on
sen tiʕʲnæʔ on kɑnsojen kunjɑntiʕʲ,
seʔ kɑrjɑlɑn kɑnsɑnkin ʋojtojɦin ʋiʕʲ

Советский Союз непобедим,
Это великого предка нашего народа земля вечная.
Путь eго - путь чести народов,
Он и народ Карелии приведет к победам.

The Soviet Union is invincible,
It is the great fatherland of our people forever.
Its path is the glorious path of the People
It takes the people of Karelia, too, to the victories.

Second verse

Isänmaa Kalevan, kotimaa runojen,
Jota Leninin Stalinin lippu johtaa.
Yli kansamme uutteran onnellisen
Valo kansojen veljeystähdestä hohtaa.

isænmɑːʔ kɑleʋɑn, kotimɑːʔ runojen,
jotɑʔ leninin stɑlinin lipuʔ joh̝tɑːʔ
yliʔ kɑnsɑmeʔ uːterɑn onelisen
ʋɑloʔ kɑnsojen ʋeljeɥstæh̝ɾestæʔ h̝oh̝tɑːʔ

Отечество Калевы, родина рун,
Которую Ленина-Сталина знамя ведет.
Над нашим народом трудолюбивым счастливым
свет народов братства звезды cияет.

Kaleva's fatherland, runes’ native land,
That is led now by the banner of Lenin and Stalin.
The light of the people’s brotherhood star is shining
Over our industrious happy people.

Chorus

Neuvostoliitto on voittamaton,
Se kansamme suur-isänmaa ijät on.
Sen Tienä on Kansojen Kunniantie,
Se Karjalan Kansankin voittoihin vie.

Third verse

Kotimaamme loi uudeksi kansamme työ,
Tätä maata me puollamme kuin isät ammoin.
Sotasuksemme suihkavat kalpamme lyö.
Asemahdilla suojaamme Neuvosto-Sammon.

kotimɑːmeʔ loj uːɾeksiʔ kɑnsɑmeʔ tyʕʲʷ,

sotɑsuksemeʔ sujh̝kɑʋɑt kɑlpɑmeʔ lyʕʲʷ
ɑsemɑh̝ɾilɑʔ suɫʷjɑːmeʔ newʋostoʔ sɑmon

Нашу родину вновь создал труд нашего народа,
Эту страну мы защищаем как отцы в давние времена.
Наши военные лыжи мчатся, наш меч разит
Оружием мы отстоим Советское Сампо.

Our people's labor revived our homeland,
We defend this land as our fathers used to do.
Our skies rustle, our swords strike.
With military strength, we protect the Soviet Sampo.

Chorus

Neuvostoliitto on voittamaton,
Se kansamme suur-isänmaa ijät on.
Sen Tienä on Kansojen Kunniantie,
Se Karjalan Kansankin voittoihin vie.
