EcoFlow is a company that develops portable power stations, smart devices, and home energy systems, established in 2017.[1][2][3]

History

EcoFlow was founded in May 2017 by Bruce Wang.[4] They started with the launch of the RIVER mobile power station.[5] By 2019, the company expanded to Tokyo, Japan and introduced the DELTA 1300 with faster charging.[6] The following year, in 2020, the RIVER series followed, offering smart energy management features.[7][8] In 2021, EcoFlow released the DELTA Pro.[9][10] During this time, the company also launched its first Smart Home Panel and reached a $1 billion valuation.[11] In 2022, EcoFlow introduced the WAVE mobile air conditioner,[12] Power Kits,[13] DELTA 2[14] and RIVER 2 series.[15]

Portable Solar Stations

EcoFlow's portable power stations for homes,[16] camping,[17] and electricity shortages.[16] The RIVER series is lightweight and ideal for small devices, while the DELTA series provides more power for larger appliances.[17] The DELTA Pro 3 and DELTA Pro Ultra offer higher capacities,[16][18] with app-based monitoring and control for home backup power,[18] and are expandable for increased energy needs.[18][16] The DELTA Pro 3 is the first of EcoFlow's units to include the company's X-Core 3.0, an integrated architecture system.[18]

Smart Devices

EcoFlow’s smart devices, like the GLACIER portable refrigerator[19] and WAVE 2 air conditioner, are designed for off-grid cooling and climate control, offering convenience for outdoor or remote use.[20]

Corporate Social Responsibility

EcoFlow operates a Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) program called "Power For All".[21] The company has provided disaster relief support, such as donating power equipment to earthquake-affected regions in Morocco (2023),[22] and supports local community initiatives.[21]
